Medical Services Systems to meet the health care needs of the

in clinical care, education, and research.
MISSION
Provide state of the art education, leadership, medical direction,
program development, and evaluation to identify and ensure optimal
prehospital patient care and performance of the Emergency Medical
Services System;
Conduct research that is ethical, relevant, valid, and practical,
in a way that contributes to the science of prehospital medicine;
Work synergistically with health and emergency service providers,
community organizations, allied services, academic institutions,
public and private groups, to optimize the delivery of prehospital
care;
Create an environment that fosters innovation and allows the
Base Hospital to realize opportunities;
Expand and share our expertise in a way that emphasizes evidence-based
and self-directed learning in all facets of prehospital care;
Respect and acknowledge the contributions of all individuals;
Encourage and support the ongoing development of our human
resource.
